Much awaited trailer of Malayalam short film ‘Krithyam’ released in YouTube

The much awaited trailer of Malayalam short film ‘Krithyam’ is released today in YouTube by Unni Mukundan through his official facebook page. As expected, the short film will be a milestone compared to recent short films done in cinematic mode. The Hollywood level of narration in the teaser made it an outstanding piece of work from Director, Nithin Nedungadan.

Krithyam is a directorial venture of Nithin Nedungadan, who is known to the industry through his channel shows for media one, Asianet and Amrita Channel. His proven expertise in the field is very well reflected in the trailer itself and handled a notable role in the short film.

Popular Malayalam mini screen actor Biju Sopanam is playing the lead character. First look poster for the short film was released recently and Biju Sopanam is appearing in a complete makeover. Krithyam short film was tag lined as ‘A justified crime‘, which is pointing to story line of the thriller.

Krithyam is a divergent style of storytelling that can be remembered for more than just being different. Sibin Koshy, who is a techie as well as a new comer made the brilliant script for Krithyam. The suspense thriller is bank rolled by Oxynet Entertainment Productions. In Krithyam, Biju sopanam will be playing the character which is entirely different from his usual characters. His extensive passion for acting is reflected throughout this short film. Realistic and unforgettable depiction of his character will gave this suspense thriller a different momentum.


Palakkad and Kozhikode were the main shooting locations for the thriller. Cinematography was handled by Manjulal and editing by Maju Anwar. Manju Lal is a famous cinematographer in Malayalam film industry. His cinematography can be considered as the film’s most impressive aspect. He handled cinematography for Sajeevan Anthikkad’s Prabhuvinte Makkal movie in 2012. In 2017 he worked for movie titled Gold Coins by Pramod Gopal.

Apart from Biju Sopanam, Manu Mohith, Veena, Baby Gayathryi are playing other prominent roles in Krithyam. Sidharth Praddep was behind thrilling background score, while Shefinmayan did sound design. Kamar and Vineesh Perambra handled art and make up respectively for the suspense thriller . NBN Creation was the creative head for the film and Krishnaa was the associative director. Shinoy was the associative for cinematography. Manu and Jayadas were the assistant directors. Adarsh and Rohin assisted Manjulal.
