Oru Yamandan Premakadha: A treat for DQ Fans

So officially the long wait of fans for a DQ (Dulquer Salman) movie finally came to an end! ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’ released in theaters. The name itself means ‘A Powerful Love story’ but its actually an out and out comedy movie. There’s Lot to laugh for the viewers.

‘Dulquer’ starrer Oru Yamandan Premakadha is written by ‘Vishnu Unnikrishnan’ and ‘Bibin George’ together. Their former movies like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan was a successful comedy entertainer. This movie is directed by ‘B.C Noufal’, it’s his debut direction.


Scriptwriters Vishnu and Bibin also done two relevant roles in the movie. Vishnu appearing as one of the best friend of Dulquer but Bibin doing a negative role. Both of them performed very well in the movie. ‘Theevandi’ fame ‘Samyuktha Menon’ and ‘Njan Prakashan /Aravindante Adhithikal’ fame ‘Nikhila Vimal’ carries the heroine’s role. Salim Kumar, Soubin, Suraj, Dharmajan, Ranji Panikkar, Lena, Hareesh Kanaran took part in this Comedy entertainer.


Dulquer appearing as ‘Lallu’ who born in a high-class family. During childhood, he finds joy by spending time with kids of the low class family of his village. Later they became his best friends. Lallu is smart, handsome and simple so Lots of girls are proposed and tried to impress him but he rejects every one just because he feels she isn’t the right one. This is the story about finding the right one and the incidents between it. That’s why the movie named Oru Yamandan Premakadha.

The plot of the movie is much like all other Vishnu Bibin usual storyline. Sure, it’s a comedy entertainer and you can laugh a lot but somewhere in the middle, the script lacks its uniqueness. The movie tries to showcase typical Malayali behavior and some social intolerance.


Overall it can be called a vacation entertainer. it seems like a festive treat for Dulquer fans and mainly kids can laugh a lot. There are fight, emotions, friendship and definitely, it won’t disappoint you.
