Pranav plays the role of Appu, son of Baba who had quotation works in Goa. Manoj K Jayan very beautifully presented the father role. Even though father has such background, Appu is not at all interested in those. Appu finds happiness in taking care of his family. He has a homestay in Goa.
Character of Pranav, enjoys surfing and in between the female lead role Saya came to his homestay. There he finds his love. Story proceeds by explaining his struggles to have a peaceful life and to grab his love. Songs and the visuals were appreciable and team has arranged a great visual treat for the audience. Abhinand Ramanujan handled the cinematography and Goa, Bali, Wagamon, Varkala and Kanjirapalli areas were the locations.
Irupathiyonnam nootttandu is a family entertainer. Movie centralised on the character of Pranav. Arun Gopi again proved that his an expert weaver of a pack of comedy, action, emotional parts, thriller parts and romance. Arun Gopi himself penned script and dialogues for his story.
